9 month Check up update

My chunkers turned 9 whole months on 3.29

We took him to the doc's on Monday

He's 22.4lbs

28in long

All around awesome!

He had one shot and didn't cry at all

the toofers are still making their way through.

We love him to pieces.

Everyday he seizes to amaze me

Lately he's been mimicing us alot

Going to have to watch what I say & do more

He's also gotten himself into a lot of trouble

therefore pointing out the areas we need to baby proof

They are here! ..sorta

The teefers have arrived!!! I can see the top tooth & I can feel it too. Leave it up to L to get those top ones first. I think the norm is to get the bottoms first. Anyway I'm such a sentimental sappy mom. I know in the next couple of days I will have teeth to look at, even though they are showing they aren't actually here. I took a couple of pics of L last days with his toothless grin. He is such a happy baby. I have been implementing some no biting techniques. I read a post from Medela, and it's true he was biting because he was bored. He just wanted to play. He had begun biting down with his gums and pulling away, kinda painful. I say no firmly and put him down. Also now if I see him starting to get bored I'll just wait until he's actually hungry, except at night. Ma dictates night time. Well sometimes. Let the next part of breastfeeding begin :)

a little cuckoo

Teething is driving me nuts. Seriously. Lucas is extremely irritable. He wants to nurse constantly and wants to be held all the time. Yeah, he was going through serious separation issues, but now it's like "No lady you better not put me down." I baby wear him mainly so I can get something around here done. He wants to either be "walked around" or be held. I even place a whole lotta toys on the ground to try to lure him to sit and NOPE. He's very frustrated. He has figured out that there is sooo much space around him and things he can't get to. All the while crabby over sore gums. I know he will get there with the crawling and the teeth? Yep they will soon come to the surface.
